Après le décès de l'ancien président du CES, Augustin Tabé Gbian, le 27 décembre 2023, le président de la République, Patrice Talon, a dû procéder à la nomination d'un nouveau membre pour compléter l'institution.

C'est ainsi que, par le biais du décret N°2024-912 du 17 avril 2024, Patrice Talon a nommé Chabi Batta Soulé "en qualité de membre du Conseil économique et social, en remplacement de monsieur Tabé Gbian au titre de la 6ème mandature".
Chabi Batta Soulé aura désormais pour mission de contribuer aux travaux du Conseil économique et social du Bénin, aux côtés des autres membres de l'institution.
Le Conseil économique et social (CES) du Bénin est un organe consultatif placé auprès du gouvernement. Il a notamment pour mission d'examiner les grandes orientations économiques, sociales et environnementales du pays.
