Le Bénin est à nouveau endeuillée par un accident de la circulation. Selon les informations de Fraternité FM, le drame s'est déroulé vers 22h dans la nuit de samedi à dimanche 22 septembre 2024. C'est en effet un bus qui a percuté violemment l'arrière du camion après un dépassement raté par son conducteur.
Le bilan est lourd : deux personnes ont perdu la vie sur le coup et plusieurs autres ont été grièvement blessées. Des secours sont rapidement intervenus pour porter assistance aux blessés. Les victimes ont pu être rapidement évacuées et prises en charge au Centre Hospitalier Départemental de Djougou.

La police a ouvert une enquête pour déterminer les circonstances exactes de cet accident tragique. Les investigations devront notamment établir les responsabilités du conducteur du bus, soupçonné d'avoir causé le choc par un dépassement dangereux.
